Terms of Use

Please read before relying on any result from this site in clinical care.

Medical disclaimer. QuickMedCalc is a reference tool for licensed healthcare professionals and is not a diagnostic device. Calculator output does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Read the full Medical Disclaimer.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QuickMedCalc (the “Service”), operated by Vant (individual operator), based in China, and published at quickmedcalc.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

QuickMedCalc is a free collection of medical calculators for healthcare professionals. All calculators are available without charge, without registration, and without an account. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no in-product purchase.

3. Educational reference only

The Service is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The calculators, interpretations, references, and FAQ content on this site are not medical advice and are not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified healthcare professional. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read on QuickMedCalc. The full medical disclaimer is available at /disclaimer and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. No doctor–patient relationship

Use of this site does not create a doctor–patient, provider–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and QuickMedCalc or its operator.

5. Accuracy and limitations

We implement calculators from peer-reviewed publications and authoritative guidelines and strive for accuracy, but medical knowledge evolves. Formulas, reference ranges, and thresholds may be superseded. Always verify against current guidelines and primary sources before clinical use. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular clinical purpose.

6. Assumption of risk

You use QuickMedCalc at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any clinical decision informed by content on this site. If you are a licensed clinician, use of QuickMedCalc does not reduce your professional responsibility for patient care.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuickMedCalc and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including but not limited to damages arising from clinical decisions informed by calculator output. Because the Service is provided free of charge, no monetary remedy is available against the operator in connection with your use of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

9. Content and intellectual property

Original QuickMedCalc content (interpretations, FAQ text, site design, and the implementation of each calculator) is owned by QuickMedCalc. Published medical formulas, scoring systems, and guidelines referenced on the site remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers; we cite them in the reference list on each calculator page. You may use the site freely for personal clinical reference and education.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape the site at abusive rates, attempt to compromise site security, use content in a way that misrepresents QuickMedCalc as endorsing a product or service, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall first be addressed by good-faith correspondence between you and us via support@quickmedcalc.com. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to the competent court at the operator's place of residence in China, subject to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights that may grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the effective date of the current version. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
