Privacy Policy
Calculator arithmetic runs in your browser. Email you choose to send is handled by email systems, while Vercel and related infrastructure may process requests and logs. Advertising or analytics processing depends on the services actually enabled and, where applicable, your privacy choices. The sections below explain these data flows separately.

Data handling at a glance
This is a summary. The sections that follow explain the complete boundaries and third-party processing.
- Calculator inputs
- Browser-side calculation; not intentionally submitted or stored by QuickMedCalc.
- Contact emails
- Processed by the sender's email provider, the receiving email service, and the independent developer.
- Hosting requests
- Vercel and related infrastructure may process request, device, location, security, and log information.
- Advertising
- Data handling depends on whether Google AdSense or another advertising service is active and on regional privacy choices.
- Analytics
- The Google Analytics 4 tag may load on Production visits. Cookie use depends on region and choice, while controlled measurement never includes calculator inputs, results, or raw search text.
Who operates QuickMedCalc
QuickMedCalc is operated by an independent developer based in China. The official website is www.quickmedcalc.com. Learn more on the About page. For privacy questions, use the Contact page or email support@quickmedcalc.com.
Calculator inputs
Calculator arithmetic is performed in the browser. QuickMedCalc does not require a name, medical-record number, address, or contact details as calculator inputs. The application does not intentionally submit calculator field values to an application server, save them to an account or application database, or pass them to analytics or advertising services.
QuickMedCalc does not intentionally persist calculator inputs in an account, application database, cookie, or browser-storage record. Calculator functionality is not designed to write those values to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, a URL query, or a URL hash.
Browser autofill and form recovery, browser extensions, the operating system, device synchronization, and assistive technologies are outside QuickMedCalc's complete control and may retain or restore page content. Do not enter names, medical-record numbers, or other identifying information into calculator fields. On a shared device, clear the page and browser data as appropriate, and never put sensitive information into the page URL.
Email communications
Email is separate from calculator input. A message you choose to send may include your sending address, display name, subject, message body, attachments, email headers, and other technical metadata. That information may be processed by your email provider, the receiving email service, the QuickMedCalc independent developer, and services supporting delivery, security, and spam filtering.
Messages may be used to reply, verify a medical-content or calculation issue, investigate a technical or accessibility problem, evaluate a calculator request, handle a privacy or legal request, prevent abuse, and retain necessary records. Email addresses are not sold, and message content is not used to build advertising profiles from patient health information.
Email is not a secure clinical-information channel. Do not send patient names, dates of birth, detailed addresses, medical-record numbers, insurance numbers, government identifiers, or unredacted screenshots. Review the Contact guidance before sending a message.
Hosting, security, and request logs
The production website is hosted by Vercel. Vercel and related infrastructure may process IP addresses, coarse location derived from IP, request time, requested URL and path, query parameters, referrer, browser and user-agent information, device and operating-system information, response status, performance and error information, and security, diagnostic, and system configuration data.
This information may be used to deliver and secure the website, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, analyze request errors, verify deployments and operation, maintain performance and reliability, and meet legal obligations. Hosting and security logs are not intended to contain calculator input values and are not used by QuickMedCalc to construct patient profiles.
Retention depends on service plans and settings, provider policies, security needs, and legal obligations. See the Vercel Privacy Notice.
Domain-name and DNS services may be provided through Cloudflare. If proxy, CDN, security, or bot-management services are enabled, those services may process network and request information under their own terms. Infrastructure providers and configurations may change without changing calculator arithmetic.
Cookies and browser storage
QuickMedCalc calculator functionality
Calculator arithmetic does not require an identifying cookie, does not create an account or login session, and is not designed to save calculator inputs in browser storage.
Optional analytics
An explicit analytics-cookie choice is stored in first-party browser storage so the site can remember it. In regions where a choice is not required, analytics may be enabled for the current visit without recording that regional default as an explicit choice. When analytics cookies are allowed, Google Analytics may set cookies such as_ga. Cookie settings in the footer can reopen the choice panel. Choosing to continue without analytics cookies stops controlled calculator-use events and removes identifiable first-party Google Analytics cookies that the application can safely recognize. The Google tag may remain loaded and send limited cookieless measurement signals.
Hosting, advertising, or other services
Whether a third-party service sets or reads cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers depends on the functionality actually enabled, the user's region and choices, and the service configuration. Browser controls can block or delete cookies and storage, although doing so may change how some third-party features work.
Advertising and Google services
QuickMedCalc may connect to Google AdSense or another display-advertising service for publisher or site verification, review, or site support. Publisher-account metadata or another supported connection mechanism identifies a publisher or site; it does not by itself mean that a display ad is being served or that an advertising request is active. Actual advertising requests and related processing depend on the services and configuration active when a page is visited.
When Google advertising is active, Google and participating vendors may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, device and browser identifiers, and ad-request and interaction information for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud and invalid traffic detection, reporting and measurement, and—where allowed and supported by the required choice or consent—personalization.
QuickMedCalc does not intentionally send calculator field values or patient-identifying information to Google advertising services or include that information in advertising requests. It does not use medical values to select personalized advertisements or create advertising audiences, or place other identifiable personal information in an ad request. Google publisher policy restricts personalized advertising based on health or medical information.
Applicable Google and privacy consent requirements depend on the advertising service actually used, the region, the ad mode, and current Google requirements. When personalized Google ads are served to users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent-management platform integrated with the IAB TCF. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies or identifiers for frequency capping or aggregate reporting, and consent may still be required where applicable. Before relevant advertising processing is activated, the site must satisfy the applicable consent and privacy requirements.
Analytics
QuickMedCalc uses Google Analytics 4 to understand overall page use and whether calculator features successfully produce a result. The Google tag may load on all Production visits. In the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and when the visitor's region cannot be determined safely, analytics storage remains denied until analytics cookies are allowed. In other regions, analytics may be enabled by default for the current visit.
When analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics does not read or write first-party analytics cookies, but Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals. When analytics storage is granted, the controlled calculator event contains only the calculator slug, clinical category, and a fixed event-source label. That event is not sent while analytics storage is denied.
QuickMedCalc does not intentionally send calculator field values, calculation results, medical scores, interpretations, free text, or the raw text entered in a site search to Google Analytics. Calculator and search inputs are not placed in the page URL by the application. The country header used for the regional choice is reduced to a yes-or-no response by the site and is not sent to GA4 as a custom field.
Google may process basic page, referrer, device, browser, operating-system, approximate geographic, cookie, and usage information under its terms. Analytics cookies are optional. Choose Cookie settings in the footer to allow analytics cookies or continue without them, and to change that choice later.
This analytics choice mechanism applies only to the current GA4 integration. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain denied. This is not a Google-certified consent-management platform for advertising; future advertising consent requires separate review and, where applicable, a Google-certified CMP.
Third-party links
Calculator and support pages may link to PubMed, DOI services, guideline organizations, government agencies, manufacturers, Google, Vercel, and other external sources. Following a link leaves QuickMedCalc, and the third party processes the visit under its own privacy policy. QuickMedCalc does not control that party's cookies, logs, content, security, or accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement.
How long information may be kept
- Calculator inputs
- QuickMedCalc does not intentionally save them to an account or application database.
- Messages may be kept as reasonably needed to handle the contact, verify a correction, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
- Hosting logs
- Processing and retention follow provider plans, settings, policies, security requirements, and legal obligations.
- Advertising or analytics
- Retention follows the services actually enabled, user choices, configuration, and provider policies.
International processing
The operator is based in China. Vercel and other providers may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions, and email may travel through regions used by the sender's and recipient's providers. Data-protection rules in those places may differ from the rules where you live.
Privacy requests
You may ask about access, correction, deletion, objection, or stopping further communication for email you sent or information the operator can reasonably locate. Available rights depend on your location, applicable law, whether the information remains identifiable, security and recordkeeping needs, legal obligations, and provider capabilities.
Email support@quickmedcalc.com or use the Contact page. Do not send additional patient information to make a request. Reasonable verification may be needed to connect a request to the corresponding email address. QuickMedCalc cannot guarantee deletion from third-party logs, uncontrollable backups, or aggregated data.
Children and pediatric content
QuickMedCalc is primarily intended for healthcare professionals, students, and adult users. Pediatric formulas do not make the website a service directed to children. A minor should not send personal, health, or patient-identifying information. The operator does not intentionally request identifying information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child's information was actively sent may contact QuickMedCalc to ask about it or request deletion. Pediatric measurement values are different from identifiable information about a child.
Security limitations
QuickMedCalc uses HTTPS, browser-side calculation, security response headers, and limited intentional data collection to reduce risk. Internet transmission, email, browsers, devices, and third-party services cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Do not email patient identity information or urgent medical information.
Changes to this policy
The effective date and last-updated date appear on this page. The policy may change when the website, advertising, analytics, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected here; when applicable law requires additional notice or consent, an appropriate mechanism will be used. A summary of significant changes may be recorded when practical.
